think carefully before buying this brand. Bought another model (cost $149), broke in 1 week. not under warranty and company does not repair their product.

I bought the Karaoke for the benefits I had to also connect my Ipod. I bought it for family activities this summer. I do not recommend it because the CDs did not work completely in the system. And the songs were not even use the remote control does not pass the songs. Sent it to warranty and they sent me a check for the amount that cost me Singing Machine.

This was way less than I expected for the price of this item. If I hadn’t bought it so early I would have sent this back.

Bought this for my daughter for her birthday… she opened it, loved it, we plugged it in and nothing. DOA. So, a very disapointed girl was without her Birthday gift. Amazon was very quick and easy on returns, they shipped a new one right away and it’s been working GREAT ever since. Now for me, it sounds ok but for my 11 year old she loves it, keeps her iPod charged and she does sing with her favorite songs all the time. Great buy, go for it, I got a lemon the first time but Amazon took care of it promptly.

This machine works pretty well. If your really into karaoke invest a little more and get a better one.
